What We Do

We Help You

Evolution Physiotherapy helps clients eliminate pain and restore function, as quickly as possible.  In addition to eliminating pain and restoring function, we offer solutions that reduce injury risk, and enhance performance and overall well being.  Further information on our injury prevention, performance enhancement, and overall well being can be found on our Injury Prevention, Exercise is Medicine, and Nutrition pages.

We believe strongly in quality of life, and enjoy helping people.  Pain and loss of function of the two primary reasons that people seek our help.

There are a variety of factors that can lead to pain and loss of function.  The most common is injury.  However, 30% of people with pain have not sustained a specific injury – it just happens without any obvious cause.  While loss of function often occurs because of pain and/or injury, it can also be the result of other factors, such as disuse (use it or lose it), aging, and other health-related complications.

The key first step in helping create a plan to assist with pain elimination and functional restoration is a thorough assessment.  While the assessment may identify a specific condition (sprained ligament, strained muscle, tendon rupture, bursitis), it may also reveal a more general syndrome (patella-femoral pain syndrome, rotator cuff tendinopathy, mechanical low back pain).  See the list of conditions and syndromes below that we help people with here.
